DETAILED WORK EXPERIENCE PRIOR TO MPower Philosophy
CITRIX SYSTEMS INC., Fort Lauderdale, FL 2005 – 2009
Global Education Marketing Manager
Led and developed two key teams dedicated to Marketing Communications and Demand Generation. Marketing Communications team’s responsibilities included: go-to-market plans, website optimization and analysis, collateral, advertising, public relations, and social media – blogging – LinkedIn. Demand Generation Team’s responsibilities included: events, email campaigns, channel marketing, CRM lead analysis and collaboration with regional sales teams. Supervised customer database and email inquiries and consulted on customer needs and perspectives.
- Realized over $1.6M in revenue annually with website optimization, email marketing campaigns, and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
- Redesigned entire Citrix.com education site and negotiated top level navigation placement, resulting in visitor growth rate of 29% per year.
- Earned over $300K through SEM and email marketing and saved over $95K annually in email campaigns by implementing in house solution which eliminated agency costs.
- Launched Citrix Education blog site generating 16,000 visits in first quarter.
AMERICAN EXPRESS COMPANY, Miami Lakes, FL 2000-2005
Regional Marketing Communications Manager (2003-2005)
Planned and implemented all Global Corporate Services (GCS) Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) brand communication initiatives. Led and managed LAC Marketing team – 4 direct reports and 2 dotted line reports. Delivered quality and timely communications which supported both strategic and business-as-usual initiatives.
- Developed and oversaw AmericanExpress.com brand websites for LAC markets and interactive activities such as online selling and email marketing, resulting in increased sales leads.
- Managed $2M+ annual regional Advertising and Promotions budget, including reporting / forecasting. Increased budget by $390K due to selling of advertising space to partners.
- Drove implementation of all regional / local brand market communication initiatives including sponsorships, client forums, and sales and collateral management, resulting in cost saving opportunities for the region.
Marketing Resources and Business Services Manager (2000-2002)
Managed variety of brand marketing and sales projects which supported strategically planned business decisions and investments. Projects included growth maximization, customer loyalty, and profitability.
- Managed and reported sales growth performance results for the region to achieve shareholder targets of over $800M+ annually.
- Implemented and drove results of brand market research strategy, methodology, analysis, and action plans which improved process management and customer loyalty, resulting in increased client satisfaction.
- Developed and implemented brand market share forecast methodology for American Express and competitors, enabling top management to quantify efforts.
RESEARCH INTERNATIONAL, Coral Gables, FL 1998 – 2000
